Content Rules

Wedlog is for sharing a real wedding with the people invited to it. Keep it kind, accurate, private, and lawful. These rules form part of the Terms of Use.

Be respectful

Do not submit hatred, threats, harassment, humiliation, or attacks based on who someone is. Do not encourage violence or harm. A wedding is not an excuse to target a person or group.

Keep sexual and exploitative content out

Do not submit sexual content, sexual solicitation, exploitation, or any content that endangers a child. Apparent child sexual abuse material or credible threats may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Be who you say you are

Do not impersonate a couple, guest, business, or other person. Create or edit a wedding only when the couple has authorized you. Do not knowingly provide false venue or event details.

Respect privacy and rights

Do not publish someone’s private contact, identity, financial, health, or location information without permission. Use invite codes carefully. Submit a companion’s or child’s name only when you are authorized to do so. Do not infringe copyright, trademarks, or other rights.

No spam, scams, or technical abuse

Do not use Wedlog to advertise unrelated services, solicit money deceptively, distribute malware or malicious links, harvest data, discover invite codes, flood reports, evade limits, or interfere with the app.

Reporting and enforcement

If a readable wedding breaks these rules, use Report this wedding in the app. Choose the closest reason and include only the details needed for review. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services first; Wedlog is not an emergency channel.

Wedlog may reject obvious prohibited text, review reports, suspend a wedding during review, restore it, or permanently delete content. Serious illegal content may be preserved or disclosed when required by law. Reports made in good faith are private from wedding editors, but knowingly abusive reporting is itself prohibited.

To question an enforcement decision, email support@wedlog.app with the wedding ID and a concise explanation. Wedlog aims to review reports promptly, but does not promise a fixed resolution time.

A practical rule

If you would not be comfortable showing the content to the couple, the guests, and the person it concerns, do not put it in Wedlog.
