Support

Last updated: 2026-07-28 · 2026-07-28-v1

Need help with Wedlog? Email support@wedlog.app.

Wedlog is operated by one person. Messages are reviewed as soon as reasonably possible, but there is no 24/7 help desk or guaranteed response time. Do not use email for an emergency.

What to include

To find the relevant data without asking for more personal information, include:

  • a short description of what happened and what you expected;
  • the wedding ID, when the issue concerns a wedding;
  • the installation ID shown in the app’s Settings, when access or ownership matters;
  • your device platform and app version for a technical problem;
  • a screenshot only if it does not expose another person’s private information.

Never send passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, full invite-code lists, identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive information by email. Wedlog has no user password to request.

Common requests

For an RSVP problem, first reopen the wedding and check whether the response can be edited or deleted in the app. For a suspended wedding, include the wedding ID and explain why you believe the suspension should be reviewed. For a broken invitation link, include the URL but avoid posting it publicly.

Data deletion

You have several deletion options:

  1. Delete your RSVP: open the wedding’s RSVP section and choose the delete action. RSVP responses are also automatically scheduled for deletion 30 days after the wedding date.
  2. Delete a wedding you own: open My Weddings in Settings and use Delete wedding. This permanently removes the wedding, invite code, updates, and guest responses through a server-side cascade.
  3. Leave or block a wedding: use the wedding safety actions in Settings. This removes it from your installation; it does not delete a wedding owned by someone else. You can also request deletion of your RSVP during that flow.
  4. Request operator-assisted deletion: email support@wedlog.app with the subject Wedlog deletion request and include the wedding ID and installation ID shown in Settings.

Describe whether you want a particular RSVP, report, support message, installation identity, or other data removed. Wedlog may ask for proportionate verification so one person cannot delete another person’s wedding or data. Some information may be retained temporarily where required for security, legal claims, statutory duties, provider deletion queues, or backups.

Deletion requests and other GDPR rights requests are normally answered within one month. Read the Privacy Policy for the full list of rights and retention periods.

Safety and illegal content

Use the in-app reporting action for a wedding that breaks the Content Rules. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service. If your message concerns an urgent security vulnerability, use the subject Security issue and avoid including exploit details that could harm other users until a safe reply channel is established.
